Activities and events

At BAKC we run a wide variety of projects, including art, drama, football, health and education. Please see our calendar for details.

We also run special events such as residential weekends. Please visit our events calendar to keep up-to-date with what’s on when.

Activities we run:

Families in Focus and BAKC: Strengthening families, strengthening communities
13 week parenting programme for Kosovan Albanian speaking parents of 5 - 17 year olds.

Art and drama
We run various projects for young people, such as dance and photography, art and drama. Please go to our calendar for information on current projects.

Football
Sometimes there is a competition with another club, either a local one, or from outside London. Everyone plays with passion, and many of the players are very talented.

Kosova Club
This session is designed to help children keep links with their own culture and language. Classes are taught in Albanian and there is the opportunity to borrow Albanian books from our library, which has books in both Albanian and English.

Albanian language evening classes for adults
Join us on Wednesday evenings for Albanian classes at our Loman Street centre.

Residential weekends
Residential outdoor activity weekends take place throughout the year.

Supported Housing Project
We have a house in Leyton, East London for young people aged from 16 offering semi-independent supported accommodation.
